The Texas Public Health Training Center (TPHTC) is a training resource for current and future public health professionals in the State of Texas. Through a partnership with the University of Texas School of Public Health, Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Public Health, and University of North Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health, we collaborate with local, regional, and state health departments in Texas to provide competency-based training and education.
Through web-based and in-person training programs, TPHTC at the Texas A&M School of Public Health provides training to public health professionals across the State of Texas. Education and training programs are also available for school nurses, community health workers/Promotores*, non-profit organizations, academic institutions, corporations, and graduate students in public health and related fields.
*TPHTC is approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Certified Training Center for Community Health Workers.
